Meet Phoebe and Juno, they are part of she is part of a double portrait which was commissioned for Christmas. The client opted for crayon as it is great for capturing the subtle, silky colourings of the breed. “Anthony (hubby) thought it was gorgeous, stunning colours and a great memento of both dogs.” Gillian Howcroft

We love our portrait of my Kai my beautiful Hearing Dog, his sense of fun has been captured by Shirley perfectly. It hangs in pride of place in our kitchen much admired by visitors and much studied by me when making the first cuppa of the day, I swear the eyes follow me! – Sarah Jessiman

The double portrait that we had of our dogs was superb. It was amazing how Shirley managed to capture the personalities  of both of our dogs –she showed a remarkable talent in portraying their individuality. We didn’t give Shirley much notice for our picture, so we  were delighted that she finished our project in a short time-span, including framing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her work to anyone who wanted a special picture of their pet. – Mary-Jane Barnes

“The best 50th birthday present I received was from Shirley. A portrait of my dearest old dog Alfie. Gone, but never forgotten, he has a prime position on the wall in the kitchen, keeping his eye on us, wise & knowing as always.”  Jude Farr
